I thought that I would change it back to integrated Intel card and check again. They could all be opened and closed without a single crash. So I loaded other KORG synths without changing the settings in nVidia.

To my surprise when I loaded the Polysix.exe and closed it, nothing happened. So out of curiosity I changed system settings, to load KORG Polysix with nVidia instead of integrated Intel.

I've been using integrated graphics card in my laptop, while having additional nVidia card available on-board. When I closed it, every time I could expect a crash. While it was open, everything worked fine. Whenever I closed the program, it would crash.
